How To Enrol
New Enrolments (New Children)
If you are a new family wishing to enrol you child/ren in to before, after, and/or vacation care, follow these steps:
Step One: New Child Enrolment Form
Enrol your child/ren using the ONLINE FORM.
Step Two: Information / Medical Forms
Information: We ask families to provide essential information about their child/ren when enrolling in Jumbos OOSH to ensure appropriate care is given. To help our team understand your child/ren’s needs, please provide reports from your child/ren’s doctor/specialist for diagnosis such as ADHD, ODD, and ASD. Additionally documentation related to any other medical needs including speech, delayed learning, trauma, anxiety, disabilities, behavioural, or other relevant factors can assist us in providing better care. The orientation meeting with our Service Director is an ideal time to share this information.
Medical Forms: To ensure the best care for your child, please complete the required medical forms and provide medications in their orignial packaging, clearly labelled with your child’s name. It’s important to hand the medication directly to our staff rather than leaving it in your child’s bag. Our Medical Officer will assist you in ensuring that all forms are signed correctly before care begins.
Additionally, we will need signed Action Plans for specific needs listed below. These action plans should be current (within the last 12 months), in colour format, and include a recent photo. Please note that we cannot begin or continue until these steps are completed.
Step Three: Orientation / Enrolment Meeting and Transitioning your family into our service
We invite families to bring their children for a visit during the orientation meeting. This is a valuable opportunity to discuss important topics including:
a. The booking process including picking up from school and dropping off.
b. The booking process for BSC/ASC and Vacation Care including their routines and daily activites and what to bring in Vacation Care.
c. Ensuring all necessary paperwork is signed.
d. Confirming that Child Care Subsidy and Centrelin connections are in place.
e. Our policies are safety and supervision including device-free service.
f. Our risk management processes.
g. Strategies we implement to promote positive behaviour.
h. Medical Management Plans procedures.
i. Information about our programs and activities designed to support your child’s development and needs.
j. Any dietary requirements or allergies that need to be addressed.
k. Transitioning your child into our care and discuss any barriers that there may be.
l. Getting to know your child, their friend groups, needs, like/dislikes.
This meeting is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and get to know our team better. We look forward to welcoming your family!
Step Four: Before / After School Care Enrolment
If you require Before / After School Care, please fill in the online form below:
Step Five: Vacation Care Enrolment
Once you have enrolled in our service, we will provide you with a link to our private Facebook Group. After you join the group, you ca find the current Vacation Care link pinned to the top of the page. We will also send out an email with the link during week 5 of the school term.
Step Six: Make a Payment
We send invoices for care on a weekly basis for Before/After School Care programs, and within a day or so when booking in Vacation Care. Invoices require payment to be made upfront so your account is up-to-date. We do not offer any delayed trading terms.
Re-Enrolments
Completing the re-enrolment form is mandatory for all existing families before booking Before/After School Care or Vacation Care. The re-enrolment form is issued in November and is valid for 12 months, or from the date is was completed, until the following Novemeber. Please follow these steps:
Step One: Notify of Any Change of Details
Change / Update any details required using the Change of Details form.
Step Two: Before / After School Enrolment
If you require Before / After School Care, please fill in the online form below or print, fill and return the HARDCOPY form to secure a spot for your child/ren.
Step Three: Vacation Care Enrolment
